The Drift is a magazine of culture and politics. Founded in June 2020, The Drift aims to introduce new work and new ideas by young writers who haven't yet been absorbed into the media hive mind and don't feel hemmed in by the boundaries of the existing discourse. Published three times a year, their issues feature longform essays and cultural criticism, short fiction, poetry, interviews, dispatches, and extremely abbreviated reviews.

Featuring essays on founders, front-runners, phantasms, and the prime of Norman Finkelstein; an interview with Saree Makdisi; Dispatches on the state of the family; fiction by Noor Qasim, Sophie Madeline Dess, Julian Robles, and Caroline Gioiosa; poetry by Robert Wood Lynn, Nicole Adabunu, Michael D. Snediker, Topaz Winters, and Ellie Black; plus extremely abbreviated reviews, an editors’ note, and more.

Published March 2024.
